Healthcare Assistant - Mid Sussex Division

ModalityPartnership Mid Sussex Division has a part-time/full-time vacancy (minimum 25hours per week) for a Level 3 Health Care Assistant. The postholder will be a high performing HCA workingat Ship Street Surgery and Judges Close Surgery. We are seeking dedicatedpostholders who will work collaboratively with the general practice team tomeet the needs of our patients through the delivery of safe patient care. Salaryfor this role is £12.21 per hour.

The post holderwill support as part of the wider nursing team to promote the health andwellbeing of our patients by assessing their needs, providing pre-screeningactivities and health care for chronic diseases, health education advice andsupport, implementing requirements in line with patient requirements,community, or other settings, maintaining clinically accurate records during clinics.

This job issuitable for individuals who can demonstrate safe and effective patient interactionsensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care whilst working alongside thewider nursing team and practice team.

Main duties of the job

This is ahands-on patient facing role; we are seeking individuals to join our team whoare caring, compassionate and confident, who demonstrate effectivecommunication, excellent customer service skills, good IT skills and theability to support patients with interventions and/or queries. The postholderwill be a key member of the practice team, responsible for undertaking patienthealth checks inc. BP / ECG monitoring / height and weight, taking bloodsamples, health and wellbeing advice and promotion.
