  • Shifts - Morning,Afternoon and Night, Monday to Sunday

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed HealthcareAssistant to join our Medical Progressive Care team.

Healthcare Assistants are instrumental in providing care to patients andsupporting the clinical team.This role varies from day to day dependingon the requirements of the ward.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the nursingstaff
  • Personal care -assisting patients with showering, feeding, mobility support etc;
  • Cleaning and tidying theward
  • Stocking the ward
  • Providing closeobservation support
  • Making sure thateverything is running smoothly to its highest potential

About the Service

Medical Progressive Care unit is a 14 bed General Medicalward that specialises in the management of people unwell with acute medicalconditions.

About you

  • Excellent customerservice skills andthe abilityto work in an inclusivemulti-disciplinary team environment
  • Ability to work allshifts - Morning, Afternoon and Night
  • Excellent timemanagement skills and a willingness to learn
  • A high attention todetail and the ability to relate to patients and their families
  • A good use of initiativeand problem-solving skills
  • Passion to assist ourpatients to achieve the best health outcomes
