The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may have contact with vulnerable service users. We encourage and support staff to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
The role is based at Longreach House, where we strive to give the best care every day for all patients who need our support. You will be responsible for providing quality interventions and support to our patients, including 1:1 sessions, running groups, helping patients access the community, engaging in meaningful activity, and supporting with personal care tasks in hospital.
You must be able to communicate in a sensitive manner and be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team, which includes healthcare assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, social inclusion workers, clinical psychology, and psychiatry.
The post will involve working shifts across the 24-hour clock, including weekends and nights.
