An "Outstanding"-rated specialist healthcare team is now looking for a qualified Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join them in Ashford, Kent.

An established local charity, the team offers excellent healthcare, practical and emotional support to people with life-limiting conditions (such as advanced cancer or heart failure) and their loved ones.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll be based at the hospice itself: a purpose-built, modern unit with a focus on privacy and comfort.

You'll provide focused personal care and support to patients who have been admitted to the ward, including helping them to spend time in the hospice's lovely indoor and outdoor areas, as part of a team that prioritises patient preferences and their wishes for the future.

Person specification :
