Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for flexible treatment room sessions across primary care services in Narberth. You will contribute to smooth patient flow by performing routine clinical tasks and supporting nursing and clinical teams in GP clinics.

Key duties include clinical observations, wound care, ECGs, and phlebotomy where trained, with duties updating digital records and maintaining a clean, safe environment in busy treatment rooms.

Qualifications

• HCA with experience in primary care or NHS settings
• Confident performing routine clinical observations
• Phlebotomy experience desirable
• Enhanced DBS clearance required

• Supporting treatment room procedures such as wound care and dressings

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for flexible treatment room sessions across primary care services in Narberth. This role is ideal for HCAs confident in performing routine clinical tasks within structured GP clinic environments, providing hands-on support to nursing and clinical teams.

You will assist with day-to-day treatment room duties, essential observations and routine procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow and consistent clinical support across the service.

• Carrying out routine clinical observations including BP, pulse and temperature
• Supporting treatment room procedures such as wound care and dressings
• Performing ECGs and basic health checks
• Assisting with phlebotomy if trained

Requirements

• Previous HCA experience in primary care or NHS clinical settings
• Confident performing routine clinical observations
• Phlebotomy experience desirable
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinic environments
• Enhanced DBS
