Locum Ready is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics throughout Pontardawe. This opportunity offers a mix of routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support duties within organised GP clinic environments.

You will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting the day-to-day running of the clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Healthcare Assistant in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident with routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Able to adapt to new clinics and workflows.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine clinical observations.
• Support treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Perform ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy where trained.
• Record information accurately in clinical systems.
• Provide general assistance to nursing and clinical teams.
• Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
