Overview

The Dermatology Partnership (Stratum Clinic, Oxford) – Permanent - Part Time – Competitive Salary. We make health happen. For this role we are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work part-time at Stratum Dermatology Clinics Oxford. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting our consultant dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (minor surgeries)
  • Venesection
  • Wound checks, dressing change, and suture removal post-surgery
  • Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
  • Daily clinic checks
  • Maintaining stock
  • Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
  • Ensuring clinical audits, policies, procedures, and medical governance standards
Skills and Qualifications
  • Care Certificate or higher
  • A real passion for patient care and delivering
  • A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
  • Good communicator and team player
