A community healthcare provider in Gosport is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will provide end-of-life care and support to patients in their homes. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting mobility, and communicating empathetically with patients and their families. Candidates should have at least six months experience in a health or social care environment and preferably hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community team in Hampshire and work towards providing holistic, person centred, end of life care and support needs of people in their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring and assisting with the maintenance of patients' skin integrity and personal hygiene, observing and supporting nutritional needs, attending to comfort requirements to facilitate rest and sleep, providing mobility support, and maintaining a clean and orderly care environment.
As a Healthcare Assistant you will practice empathetic communication with the patient and those important to them in a supportive, professional manner and provide high quality personal care and support to enhance wellbeing.

We providefree specialist care and support to patients with terminal illnesses whilstoffering vital emotional support for their families. It's all about giving themthe best possible quality of life. The support we offer is tailored to meetindividuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.
We want adifferent society than the one we live in now. Our mission for the next fiveyears is to close the gap in the number of people missing out on what they needat the end-of-life.

Contract: Permanent, available as full-time or reducedhours; multiple openings
Work Schedule: Day shifts: Six hours,Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays
Shift hours: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Based:Community Based - Hampshire
