We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Haematology Cancer Ward at HCA at UCH, one of our specialist centres rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly specialised environment, supporting patients undergoing advanced treatments including JACIE-accredited bone marrow/stem cell transplants and our cutting-edge CART T-cell therapy programme.

As part of our Cancer Nursing Team, you’ll assist with clinical and clerical duties under the supervision of experienced nurses and medical staff. You’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, efficient, and person-centred care to patients with complex haematological conditions.

What you’ll bring:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Strong clinical skills, including phlebotomy (essential)
  • Experience in a hospital acute ward setting (NHS or private)
  • Understanding of cancer care, particularly haematology (desirable)
