Job summary

The Ridings Medical Group is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our established team across five practices (Brough, South Cave, Hessle, Holme Upon Spalding Moor and Bubwith). The role is 29 hours per week, across all sites, with a pattern between 08:00-20:00.

Training is available for suitable candidates with NVQ3 or equivalent. You will support clinicians in a range of clinical duties, demonstrating a caring, patient-focused approach while upholding high standards of

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) preferred; training provided.
• Experience as HCA in Primary Care preferred.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical duties including height/weight, urinalysis, BP checks, peak flow, ECG.
• Venepuncture and vaccinations under PSD where trained.
• Support GPs, nurses and HCAs to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and compassionate care.
