Job Description:

• Salary: From £22,406 to £23,576 per annum dependent on experience, including pension, health cover, flexible benefits, and career development opportunities.
• Location: The Princess Grace Hospital, London
• Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

We are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Endoscopy team at The Princess Grace Hospital, rated "Good" by the CQC. Located in London's renowned medical district, our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated team committed to excellent clinical care.

The hospital has 127 beds, including inpatient, outpatient, endoscopy, urgent care, and high dependency units, with 24-hour consultant coverage.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support the clinical team by providing skilled assistance, participating in patient care assessments, and maintaining care standards. You will also handle manual handling, cleaning, waste disposal, restocking, and ward tidiness.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing patient care, ensuring comfort and safety while respecting cultural and religious beliefs.
• Report issues to nurses and act as a patient advocate.
• Prepare dressings and assist with procedures under supervision.
• Support nursing and medical staff during procedures as directed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
