To assist the team in maintaining a well-stocked, tidy, and welcoming environment for patients. Carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, following local policy and trust guidelines. Relieve trained nurses of non-clinical duties.
Rotate through all clinical areas to meet service needs.

An exciting Band 3 Support Worker opportunity has arisen in the Elective Centre. We seek passionate individuals to contribute to the unit's success.
Primarily based at Burnley, flexible working to cover service needs is required.
The state-of-the-art Centre includes a Day surgery unit, inpatient facility, Procedure Room, and Treatment room.
The unit operates from 07:30 Monday to Saturday 14:00, requiring staffing cover.
The Elective Centre is busy and physically and mentally demanding.
Some cross-site working may be necessary.
Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues via various channels to ensure smooth department operations.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and report patient information appropriately.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism with patients, relatives, and staff.
Follow complaints policies and procedures.
Participate in training sessions for Band 2, Cadet, and Student Nurses.
Attend mandatory training and reviews as per policy.
Engage in performance reviews and achieve set objectives.
Contribute to service development and participate in clinical audits, trials, and research.
Achieve personal learning objectives.
Promote equality, diversity, and patient rights.
Attend training courses such as induction, moving and handling, fire safety, etc.
