Practice Plus Group is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to join the Primary Care team at HMP Altcourse in Liverpool. You’ll support clinics, work with pharmacy and respond to emergencies in a busy, secure environment. This is a full-time, 37.5-hour role with shifts 7am–9:30pm, including weekends and some nights.

A Care Certificate/NVQ in Health & Social Care is required. The role includes a pension, 25 days leave (28 with service), wellbeing benefits, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Clinical role requiring experience in bloods, ECGs, and health checks.
• Competent in assessing deteriorating patients and interpreting NEWS scores.

Responsabilités

• Run and support healthcare clinics (bloods, observations, ECGs, NHS Health Checks).
• Work in reception (Early Days in Custody), basic health assessments and screenings.
• Assess and monitor deteriorating patients, escalate concerns appropriately.
