Job summary

A healthcare service provider in East Midlands is seeking compassionate staff to support children and young adults with complex health needs at home. Flexible casual contracts are available for both day and night shifts. Ideal candidates should hold a Level 2/Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care and possess strong communication skills. Comprehensive training is provided, along with a supportive on-call team available 24/7 for assistance.

Job description

NurtureCare is commissioned to support both children and young adults with complex health and additional health needs within the home environment.

Casual Contract - Fully Flexible Day and Night Shifts, Waking Nights - Full time, Part time hours considered.

We are looking for staff who have:

• The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Level 2/Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

PLEASE NOTE: We currently unable to offer sponsorships for this position.

Clinical care that you will provide – full training will be given:

• Chest management

• Moving and handling including the use of a hoist and slide sheets

• Aiding with morning and night time routines including personal care, dressing and washing

• Administering medication

• Epilepsy management

Things we appreciate, but not required:

• Previous experience working in care

• PEG feeding

• Medication administration

• Personal care

• Moving and handling
