Healthcare Assistant - Day shifts DRIVER REQUIRED

£11.60 - £12.02 per hour + 30% enhancements on weekends

3 x 12-hour shifts per week - 7.45am - 8.45pm

About us:

Stagenhoe is a Brainkind specialist neurological care centre in Hertfordshire, caring for people aged 18 and over with various neurological conditions. We provide neurorehabilitation to support and improve the lives of those with neurological conditions or brain injuries. Due to the location, you must have your own transport; we cannot offer sponsorship for this role.

About the role:
  • Work with team members to ensure optimal recovery across cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and functional domains.
  • Monitor clients' physical and emotional well-being, alerting senior staff as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining client morale through communication and contact.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Review and suggest improvements to enhance the client's experience.
  • Support the delivery of care, enabling clients to express concerns and complaints freely.
  • Facilitate a safe and smooth service operation, maintaining confidentiality and a safe working environment.
About you:
  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 or relevant training (desirable).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, with a commitment to further studies.
  • Proven team working experience.
  • Care delivery experience.
  • Good communication, numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.
Enhancements:
  • Night shifts (8.00 pm - 6.00 am): 30%
  • Weekends (Friday midnight - Sunday midnight): 30%
  • Public Holidays (24 hours): 60%
