About The Role

Cornerstoneis on the lookout for a dedicated Healthcare Assistant who’s eager to take the next step towards a Senior role and join our award-winning team.

What hours will you work?

  • Total average of 40.25 hours worked per week.

What do you need?

  • Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • A strong mind-set to support adults with complex needs in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • A kind, caring, and compassionate nature.
  • A genuine desire to support others and make a difference.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Willingness to learn and complete training (including obtaining a Care Certificate).

What will you be doing?

  • Observe resident progress against planned goals and report changes in the residents’ condition or care needs
  • Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities
  • Helping residents to remain as independent as possible
  • Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times
