Job summary

OneCall24 Healthcare Limited is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a male client in his late 30s living at home in Sidmouth, Devon. This 24-hour waking complex care role focuses on spinal injury care and Autonomic Dysreflexia management, with emphasis on ADLs, personal care and mobility assistance.

Candidates must be drivers and able to work days or nights, with full training provided and guaranteed hours via set rotas.

Qualifications

• Driver required.
• Experience in complex care settings.
• Able to recognise clinical concerns and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide full support with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, moving and handling, medication support, bowel care, catheter care, nutrition and hydration, and mobility assistance.
• Recognise clinical concerns and respond promptly in a 24-hour waking care setting.
• Work independently within a client's home delivering high-quality care.

Pay Rates: £15.00 to £22.00 per hour

Shift Pattern: Days and nights

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a male client in his late 30s within his home environment. This is a 24-hour waking complex care package supporting a client living with a spinal cord injury and Autonomic Dysreflexia.

The successful candidate will provide full support with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, moving and handling, medication support, bowel care, catheter care, nutrition and hydration, and mobility assistance. Carers must be confident working within complex care settings, able to recognise clinical concerns, and remain calm and professional at all times.

• Working independently within a client's home
• Managing challenging behaviors professionally and calmly
