Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Adult)

Supporting our client with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in their own home.

Location: Dawlish

Pay: up to £21 per hour

Shift: Full-time and Part-time (Days, Nights, Weekends)

Full Training Provided

Onecall24 Healthcare is recruiting healthcare assistants to provide care for a client with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy who enjoys activities like cinema, bowling, and playing PlayStation. The client values independence and personal choice in daily activities. We seek a non-smoker, comfortable with driving a van, and dedicated to ongoing care support. Full training and clinical support will be provided.

Responsibilities include supporting with PEG management, medication administration, moving and handling, personal care, and healthcare tasks tailored to the client’s needs, ensuring safety and comfort at home. You will be supported by qualified Nurse Managers throughout your work.

You will be part of the complex care team, committed to quality and person-centred care. Full training will be provided, and access to transport is essential due to the location of work.
