Healthcare Assistant – Complex Care (Adult). Supporting our client with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in their own home.

Location – Dawlish

Pay – up to £21 per hour

Shift – Full-time and Part-time (Days, Nights, Weekends)

Onecall24 Healthcare is recruiting healthcare assistants to provide care for a client living at home with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. The client enjoys outings such as cinema, bowling, and playing PlayStation, and makes independent decisions about daily activities. We seek a dedicated team to support these activities. Due to the complex health conditions, a non-smoker is required. Candidates should be comfortable driving a van and committed to ongoing care support. Full training and clinical support will be provided.

Experience in the following areas is preferred:

• Adult Nursing
• BiPap
• Cough assist
• PEG

Responsibilities include supporting PEG management, medication administration, moving and handling, personal care, and other health-related tasks tailored to the client's needs, ensuring safety and comfort at home. You will be supported by Nurse Managers overseeing all care packages.

You will be part of the Onecall24 Healthcare complex care team, committed to quality and person-centred care. Full training in specialist care and 24-hour support will be provided. Access to personal transport is essential due to the location of work.
