OneCall24 Limited is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support a young boy at home in Rugby. The role involves care, companionship, and helping with daily routines to foster independence and confidence.

You will work closely with the family and a home-school teacher to support learning through play and structured activities. The position may include night care, monitoring health, repositioning, and assisting with medications.

• Experience delivering home care for a child with complex needs.

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire

Pay Rates: £14.00 - £22.00

Shift Pattern: Days and Waking Nights

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic fun loving enthusiastic reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a young boy in his home environment.As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be an important part of this child's daily life, providing both care and companionship in a supportive home environment.

Your role will involve helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere where the child can thrive.You'll engage them in fun, creative, and educational activities, both indoors and outdoors, encouraging confidence, curiosity, and independence.Working closely with the family and alongside the home-school teacher, you will also support learning and development through play-based and educational experiences, making each day enjoyable and meaningful.

The position involves supporting with occasional night care is current team on leave or sick.This includes monitoring the client's condition, assisting with repositioning and personal care, and carrying out suctioning, administering medication, and completing flushes as required.

We are looking for carers with experience in:

• Gastrostomy
• Suctioning
• Medication Administration
• Epilepsy
• Personal care
• Chest clearance

Training can be given if these skills are minimal, finding the right person with the right personality is essential.
