Job summary

OneCall24 Healthcare is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a young male in his home environment. You will work closely with the family to uphold dignity, independence, and overall wellbeing by assisting with daily living activities and monitoring health.

Responsibilities include ensuring client comfort and safety, and providing ongoing support related to medical history and care needs. Candidates must be drivers to access mobility vehicles/WAVs as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have driving license and be willing/able to drive client mobility vehicles/WAVs.
• Experience in bowel care, autonomic dysreflexia, catheter care, and spinal injury care is preferred.
• Experience with moving and handling and complex care is desirable.

• Experience in bowel care
• Knowledge and experience in managing Autonomic Dysreflexia
• Moving and handling experience
• Catheter care, including suprapubic catheter management
• Experience supporting clients with spinal injuries
• Previous experience within complex care

All candidates MUST be drivers, as the client may have access to mobility vehicles/ WAV's that they may need to drive.
