Job summary

OneCall24 Limited is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant for a complex care role in Wynyard, County Durham. This position involves 2:1 support with personal care, mobility, meal prep, feeding, and medication administration, plus supporting rehabilitation activities.

You will work with family and a multidisciplinary team to promote independence, safety and well-being. The role requires full UK driving licence, with day and night shifts available and excellent pay rates.

Qualifications

• Must have compassionate and reliable nature.
• Driver with full UK driving licence.
• Ability to support 2:1 care in a home setting.
• Experience with personal care and mobility assistance.

Responsibilities

Healthcare Assistant - Complex Care Location: Wynyard, County Durham Pay Rates: £15.50 to £25.00 Shift Pattern: Day Shifts and Night Shifts

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a lady in her home following a hypoxic brain injury. You will provide 2:1 support with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, feeding, medication, and community access, as well as supporting physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, gym sessions, and other rehabilitation activities. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly, and person-centred, with excellent communication and listening skills to support her speech difficulties. You will work closely with her family and multidisciplinary team to promote her independence, dignity, safety, and well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with the client and make a genuine difference to her ongoing recovery and quality of life.
