Job summary

OneCall24 Limited seeks a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support a young adult with a learning disability at home in Camborne. The role covers daily living support, personal care, and assisting with PEG feeding, medications, and oxygen therapy during night shifts.

You will work closely with the client and his family to ensure comfort, dignity, and independence. The position requires a proven track record with learning disabilities, CP Grade 5, and the ability to drive.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
• Ability to manage PEG feeding and medications.
• Comfortable with non-invasive ventilation and oxygen therapy.
• Valid driving licence and ability to drive is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Promote independence and dignity in daily routines.
• Support nutritional needs and medications via gastrostomy port.
• Provide oxygen therapy and monitor saturations.
• Work collaboratively with family to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support a young adult male client with a learning disability within his home environment.This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in his daily life while working closely and collaboratively with his family to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

The position involves assisting with daily living activities, supporting personal care needs, promoting independence wherever possible, and ensuring the client's comfort, dignity, and overall well-being always.The role also requires supporting with nutritional needs and medications administered via his gastrostomy port, as well as providing oxygen therapy to maintain his oxygen saturations.
