If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a passion for making the patient journey as comfortable as possible, we have just the role for you.

Working as a Healthcare Assistant at Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology, Bamber Bridge, Preston, you'll provide support to the nursing staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of a high standard of care to patients in a safe and caring environment. This will involve working with our Ophthalmic Nurses in outpatients and theatre.

Above all, you have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.

This role is for 37.5 hours per week across 4 days. Travel to mobile sites across Preston, Lancashire, Manchester, and Yorkshire will be part of the contract. Travel time and mileage will be paid. Shifts start at 07:30 am.

Applicants need a full and clean driver’s license. Ophthalmology experience would be preferred but is not essential.
