About the Role

Affection Care Services are seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in various healthcare settings. The role involves assisting with daily activities and ensuring the well-being of service users under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

Main Duties

• Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals
• Communicate effectively with service users, families, and the healthcare team
• Utilize IT systems for documentation and record-keeping
• Provide care in settings such as home care environment
• Support service users with personal care needs
• Maintain a clean and organised environment for service users’ comfort

Qualifications

• Experience in care home or home care settings is advantageous
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Ability to drive and possess a valid driver’s licence with your own car
• Strong communication skills to interact with service users and colleagues effectively
• Familiarity with IT systems for recording service users’ information
