Job description

We have weekly paid hours available for experienced Healthcare Assistants to work daytime hours on a flexible basis in the Ilkeston area.

You will be working in a beautiful care home that accommodates up to 31 residents. The residents suffer from age-related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, so supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.

As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include providing personal care to both male and female residents, assisting with mobility using moving aids, and helping with domestic duties. You will also provide companionship to the residents, assist with fluids and nutrition, and ensure that health and safety standards are maintained.

To be suitable for this position you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
- Up to date mandatory training
- A Referenceable work history
- At least 3 months experience within a similar setting

If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!

The hours available to you will be
14:15 to 22:00 with hours available between Monday to Sunday.

The rate of pay for this role is £12.35 per hour
