Job Overview

We have full and part time positions available at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals who have strong communication and observation skills to deliver excellent patient-focused care in a challenging environment.

We will complete a comprehensive induction programme that will fully prepare you for the role and you will be working in a stimulating and supportive clinical environment with many opportunities for learning and development.

Main duties of the job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistants to join the team in Acute Medicine at The Princess Royal Hospital.

The Acute floor consists of a Acute Medical Unit (AMU) , Acute Medical Assessment (AMA) and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) which is a seated area for patients who are referred requiring a medical assessment but may go home the same day. AMU/AMA and SDEC is a fast-paced environment, in which patients are assessed and treated for a variety of medical conditions before being sent home or on to a specialist ward.
