We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the team at HMP Wakefield, a Category A male prison in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
This role is vital within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients and delivering outstanding care. It offers excellent development opportunities and a supportive environment to build on your experience and acquire new skills. The role is based within our Inpatients Unit, which has a capacity of 14, and involves physical, social, end of life, and palliative care. Hours are full-time, 37.5 hours per week, working shifts between Monday and Sunday, with 12-hour shifts (7am - 7:15pm / 7pm - 7:15am). It includes nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota, working around two weekends per month.
