You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people who have Learning Disabilities, Autism, and sensory and communication differences, using your knowledge and skills to support and encourage individuals to lead a full, valued, and meaningful life, enabling them to live more independently through active community engagement, developing social networks, and coping strategies.

Main duties of the job

You will support individuals with activities of daily living, activities within the home and community, complete service user records, and provide overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal care.

Job responsibilities

Your role involves supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, sensory, and communication differences, helping them lead fulfilling lives. Your daily tasks include assisting with activities of daily living, supporting within the home and community, and maintaining service user records. A positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are essential, as the environment can be challenging but rewarding.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week, including nights and weekends.

Where you will be working

Location: Colliery Road, Creswell, Worksop, S80 4BX

This residential service supports adults under 65 with complex needs, stepping down from or avoiding hospital admission, providing community-like care in spacious accommodation. The team operates 24 hours with registered managers, nurses, and support workers.
