Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment dealing with patients.

You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to work 40 hours per week. The successful applicant should have experience working in clinical settings or the healthcare environment.

The candidate should have experience in a healthcare environment as they will be required to provide both administrative and patient support, including chaperoning patients and assisting Radiographers during scans. They will also handle admin duties related to the patient pathway, following standard guidelines. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, along with IT and administrative skills, are essential. Understanding and complying with radiation protection protocols is also required. Excellent patient care skills are a must.

Attention to detail, flexibility, organization, and enthusiasm are key qualities. The ability to work accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, and adhere to turnaround times is important.
