Job Title: Healthcare Assistant – SEND & Complex Needs
Location: Shrewsbury
Salary: £90–£100 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Protocol Education is working in partnership with a Shrewsbury-based SEND school that provides specialist education and care for children and young people with complex needs, including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), sensory impairments, and physical disabilities.
The school is seeking a compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference in the daily lives of students who require personalised care, structure, and support in order to thrive.

We are looking for an individual with a caring, patient, and proactive approach who is comfortable working in a high-needs setting. You may already have experience in healthcare, care work, education, or social support roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
