Role Responsibilities

As a care assistant, your responsibilities mirror those of permanent staff, performed within various settings such as NHS, Residential Care Homes, and Care at Home, under different contract types. Agency work allows you to support different teams, often on short notice, especially during staff shortages or busy periods.

Work Flexibility

You can choose to work solely as an agency worker, combine agency shifts with a full or part-time role, or register with multiple agencies for diverse opportunities.

• Proof of qualifications
• CV or work history from full-time education, with gaps over one month explained
• Up-to-date employment references, including two professional references covering three years
• PVG and Occupational Health Checks
