We are seeking to employ compassionate, committed and reliable individuals with a passion to provide the very best care to the elderly within a care home setting. Our aim is to help each and every one of our residents to live fulfilled and happy lives.

Joining our team as a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, your role will be to take responsibility for the physical and emotional well being and social needs of our residents.

Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.

Providing physical and mental stimulation by encouraging residents to take part in the recreational and social activity programme.

Helping to maintain accurate records, undertaking ongoing training and getting involved in welcoming new staff.

Generally promoting our residents' independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the very best standards of care.

In house training, induction and uniform is provided.

Previous experience and ideally QCF Level 2 or 3 would be an advantage but it is not essential. Applicant must be prepared to begin a QCF if they do not have the qualification already, with opportunities offered to study for the qualification.

Own transport is essential due to the location of the home and shift pattern. We do not offer sponsorship

Permanent post hours:07:15 - 14:15, 11:00 - 18:00, or 14:00 - 21:00, on rotation, 5 shifts out of 7 - 35 hours per week - with opportunities for overtime.
