The Lakes Medical Practice, Penrith, is looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join their team.

**Consideration will be given to those seeking a HCA training role, for the right applicant with relevant experience.**
This is a full-time role. Days of work are usually Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
You will work under the direct supervision of the Practice Nurse and in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols. The Healthcare Assistant will assist the practice's clinical team in providing and delivering prescribed patient care programs.
Prepare and maintain environments and equipment before, during, and after patient care interventions.
Support and monitor patients during nebulisation therapy.
Conduct Long-Term Condition Reviews and Foot Checks.
Administer B12, Flu, and Pneumococcal Vaccinations.
Contact patients on behalf of and as advised by the GP/Clinical team, to advise on test results and recall plans following consultations or test results.
Assist in raising awareness of health and well-being, and how it can be promoted.
Provide accurate and appropriate information to patients and groups within your competence.

Practice Support Team: Admin/Reception/Medications

Salary range: £23,809.50 to £26,000 per year, depending on experience.
