Location:Nottingham (NG8 6AT) with travel around the area
Salary:£22,932 - £23,304 per annum
Hours: 35 per week

Contract: Fixed term contract (30th September 2025)

Driving: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

A day in the life of a Healthcare Assistantwill involve:

• Providing invaluable contribution to the Community Crisis Support Service and its users.
• Providing short term crisis care to people in their homes, helping to keep them out of hospital.
• Assessing clients' needs and develop a care plan to fit them.
• Providing support with personal care, medication prompts, end of life care, light meal and drinks preparation.

To be a successful Healthcare Assistant, You’ll need:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
• Ability to communicate with health and social care professionals
• Ability to deal with service user queries in a diplomatic, professional and confidential manner
• Knowledge of assisting service users, who may be disabled and/or frail, cognitively impaired.
• Good geographical knowledge of the service catchment area.
• IT literate
• Knowledge of services provided by the NHS and Social Care
• Good working experience of the delivery of social care support including personal care, feeding and medication prompting
• Participation in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Full driving licence holder and access to vehicle, ability to use the vehicle daily for service user visits
• Willingness to work flexible hours
