About The Role
We are recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young child with complex medical needs in their family home in Duston. This is a 1:1 role delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a structured and clinically supported setting.
Client Summary:
A young child with cerebral palsy (GMFCS Level V), epilepsy, dystonia
Non-verbal, PEG-J fed, requires 24/7 monitoring
Lives with family in a well-supported home environment
Requires full support with mobility, feeding, medication, and personal care
Shifts Available:
Day and Night shifts
Ongoing rota with consistent hours
Weekday and weekend availability required
Key Responsibilities
PEG-J feeding and medication administration
Monitoring and responding to seizures (buccal midazolam)
Personal care and hygiene
Moving and handling (single staff)
Supporting family in day-to-day care routines
Completing clinical documentation
Essential Requirements
Minimum 6 months care experience (complex needs desirable)
Confident with or willing to train in PEG-J and epilepsy management
Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
What We Offer
£15.20 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
