• Expérience antérieure dans les soins de santé ou un environnement similaire est bénéfique.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include ward rounds, analyzing behaviors and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.

It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance are important. However, it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.

The shift pattern is 12.5 hours a day, 3-4 days a week, including nights and weekends.

Where you will be working

You will be working at the Farndon Unit, a purpose-built low secure hospital that offers personalized assessment and recovery-based treatment pathways, including a trauma-specific pathway, for women with complex care needs.

You will join the multidisciplinary team in providing specialist care for people with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental illness and/or personality disorder and/or mild learning disability.

The combination of general low secure wards and a recovery ward area (also within the low secure perimeter) provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting recovery and rehabilitation.
