A healthcare provider in Watford is seeking a part-time health care assistant to join their clinical team. The role involves supporting patient care delivery, conducting health checks, and various clinical tasks such as ECG recording and phlebotomy. The candidate will receive ongoing professional support and will work closely with a diverse team focused on excellent patient care and quality improvement.
We have an exciting opportunity for a health care assistant to join a forward-thinking Primary Care Network (PCN) in north Watford and become an integral part of a diverse clinical team.
The position is offered on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week with the successful candidate receiving ongoing educational and professional support. Working under the direct supervision of the GP Partners and strictly in accordance with practice guidelines and protocols, the health care assistant will assist the practice teams in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care. The practices have a commitment to excellent patient care, quality improvement, and teaching. It is expected that all members of our clinical team are actively committed to supporting these aims and participate in relevant activities when appropriate.
North Watford PCN is a small, innovative PCN serving over 25,000 registered patients. It comprises three GP practices: Vine House, Abbotswood, and Sheepcot Medical Centre. Known for its excellent teaching reputation, the PCN has progressed with the national recruitment agenda, recruiting a GP, clinical pharmacist, social prescriber, paramedic, ANPs, and a mental health link worker.
