Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated night Healthcare Assistant to join our team to support one of our clients in PE34 providing exceptional care on a one to one basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the individual in their own home. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of our service user while ensuring their comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist service user with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support service user in following their individual care plans, ensuring that their specific needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on resident well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the home environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a healthcare essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being capable of working independently when required.
  • Understanding of care plan and the ability to follow it accurately.
  • DBS is required or one in process
