Job description

Woodhall Spa New Surgery is looking to recruit a full-time or two part-time healthcare assistants to work primarily at our branch site in Bardney but with some shifts at the main site in Woodhall Spa.

Main duties of the job

To provide healthcare support to our patients, as well as assistance to the nurses and doctors as required. Ideally you should be experienced in phlebotomy, annual health checks, be able administer vaccinations within an HCA remit, conduct ECGs and ambulatory blood pressures. Our healthcare assistants also carry out stitch and clip removal, wound management and wound maintenance. We are a busy practice but offer full support to our HCAs and nurses to ensure they are confident in their job role.

About us

Woodhall Spa New Surgery, and our branch site in Bardney, are based in rural Lincolnshire. We are a pleasant hard-working team with a diverse demographic of patients. We have four salaried GPs, two ANPs and assorted PCN staff such as a Mental Health Nurse, Clinical Pharmacist and Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner.

Experience
  • Experience of working in primary care, particularly in a GP practice as a health care assistant.
