Applicants should have hospital/primary care experience and be competent in taking blood pressure, ECGs, and other observations. Knowledge of wound care is also required for this position.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will assist in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in prison, under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your responsibilities include providing physical care according to written care plans, which involve taking blood pressures, ECGs, other observations, and wound care.

You will actively engage with patients to provide holistic, needs-led care addressing physical, psychological, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. You will promote health and well-being through health promotion activities and programs, responding to patient needs and helping them attain optimal physical health.
