We're looking for a compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our team. If you're dedicated to supporting patients and making a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you!

Location:

South Derbyshire Sites

Working Patterns:

Both Full-time and Part-time hours available

Salary:

DHU Band 2.0 (£23,875 per annum pro rata), with potential increase to DHU Band 3.0 (£24,071 - £25,675) after training

Typical Responsibilities:

• Carrying out direct patient care duties under supervision.
• Undertaking training to extend skills, e.g., wound care, ECG recording, urinalysis.
• Potentially providing swabbing services for Covid-19 testing.
• Offering reassurance to vulnerable patients.
• Assisting with administrative duties and record keeping.

Requirements:

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths or equivalent.
• Experience in a clinical environment.
• Reception experience.
• Good attendance and employment record.
• Basic IT skills and good communication skills.
• Accurate record keeping and literacy/numeracy skills.
