Job summary

Park Homes UK Ltd is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support residents at Munches Park Care Home. You will help with daily care needs, ensuring residents feel comfortable, respected and valued in a supportive team.

Whether you have care experience or are starting a career in care, you will be supported with induction, training and ongoing guidance. Competitive rate and flexible hours are available to suit full-time, part-time or bank hours.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred care reflecting residents' needs and preferences.
• Assist with personal care including washing, dressing, toileting and oral hygiene while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Support residents with eating and drinking to promote good nutrition and hydration.
• Assist mobility and moving and handling per care plans and training.
• Encourage independence and choices in daily activities.
• Provide companionship and encourage participation in activities and social opportunities.
• Report changes in health or wellbeing to the senior team promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records using the home’s systems.
• Follow care plans, infection prevention procedures and safeguarding policies.
• Work with colleagues to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Communicate with residents, relatives and visitors in a sensitive, professional manner.

Park Homes UK Ltd is looking for compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join the team at Munches Park Care Home.

You will support residents with their daily care needs, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. Whether you have previous care experience or are looking to begin a career in care, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver kind, person-centred care that reflects each resident’s needs, wishes and preferences.
• Support residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and oral hygiene, while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Assist with eating and drinking, encouraging good nutrition and hydration.
• Support residents with mobility and moving and handling in accordance with their care plans and training.
• Encourage independence and support residents to make choices about their daily lives.
• Offer companionship and encourage participation in activities and social opportunities.
• Recognise and promptly report changes in residents’ health, wellbeing or behaviour to the senior team.
• Maintain accurate and timely care records using the home’s care systems.

• Communicate sensitively and professionally with residents, relatives and visitors.
