Support Worker Responsibilities

As a Support Worker, your daily tasks may include assisting with eating and drinking, meal preparation, personal care, providing companionship, and encouraging independence in daily activities.

What Nurseplus Offers
  • Flexible shifts – full-time or part-time, days, nights, and weekends
  • Pay from £13.15 to £19.00 per hour, paid weekly
  • Free training aligned with the Care Certificate

Requirements for Support Workers
  • You must be over 18
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Flexibility to travel; some shifts may require driving or access to public transport

  • An enhanced DBS check, which can be applied for upon registration (costs £45.40, refundable after 100 hours worked)
