Radius Care is seeking a temporary Healthcare Assistant for aged care facilities in New Zealand. This casual role allows for flexibility as you report to the charge nurse, assisting with personal care tasks and maintaining healthcare records, supporting the well-being of residents.

As a Healthcare Assistant for R-Connect, you will be deployed to complete temporary assignments across various aged care facilities in New Zealand. You will gain a broad range of experience and deliver quality care to residents.

As this is a casual role, you will be prompted when a temp vacancy is available, and you will only need to accept this when you are available.

Some Duties include but not limited to:

• Report to the charge nurse and complete delegated tasks in a timely manner
• Residents’ personal care tasks i.e. hygiene, grooming, toileting
• Including mobilising, shaving, brushing of teeth and hair
• Maintain documents in resident healthcare records

Skills and Experience

• You need to be a New Zealand Citizen/Resident or have open work visa conditions
• New Zealand Certificate in Health and wellbeing level 3 or 4 preferred
• Aged care experience required
• People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• The flexibility to work on a rostered shift basis
