About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in a nursing home based in Belfast. This is a full-time, day-shift position offering a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to residents in a friendly, professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, and toileting.

  • Support residents with mobility and daily living activities.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to promote residents’ wellbeing.

  • Record and report any changes in residents’ health or behaviour to senior staff.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

  • Work collaboratively as part of a caring and professional team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing home setting is desirable but not essential.

  • A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
