Job summary

Spire Abergele Clinic is hiring a Healthcare Assistant to join the team on a part-time basis. The role supports outpatient services and day-case treatments, with shifts across opening hours and a focus on high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have HCA experience in a clinic or hospital, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable with ECGs, blood pressure checks and patient observations. NVQ levels are desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as HCA in a clinic or hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in ECGs, taking blood pressure and patient observations.
• Good teamwork ethic.
• Enthusiastic and energetic professional.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or Care Certificate desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the team across outpatients and theatres in the provision of exemplary patient care
• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being
• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies

Health Care Assistant | Abergele Clinic | 22.5 hours per week | Permanent | Free Parking & Excellent Benefits

Spire Abergele are looking for a Healthcare assistant to join the team on a part time basis. We are looking for someone with experience in an outpatient/clinic/GP Practice . Spire Abergele Clinic provides outpatient and day case treatments by a team of dedicated consultants and healthcare professionals.

Clinic Opening hours - shifts will range between these times.

• Monday - Friday 0800-20:00
• Saturday 0800-16:00
• Sunday - Closed

The responsibilities of this role will include:

• Assisting the team across outpatients and theatres in the provision of exemplary patient care
• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients
• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person
• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with clinic policies

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinic or hospital environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in : ECGs, taking blood/blood pressures and patient observations
• Good team work ethic
• Enthusiastic and energetic professional
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care /Care Certificate / NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential
