Role: Healthcare Assistant Weekend (Part-Time)

  • Saturday and Sunday
  • 07:00 - 15:00
  • 15:00 - 23:00

No experience is required as all training given, driver and own car essential.
Travel time and mileage paid.

Our clients have a broad range of physical and learning difficulties and complex health and behavioural issues.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting our clients with all aspects of personal care including washing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Administering medication in a way appropriate for the client.
  • Preparing meals for clients where necessary.
  • Providing support with shopping and light domestic tasks.
  • Providing companionship to all clients.
  • More complex care is required with some clients e.g. cough assistance and peg feeding, however, full training is given.

The successful candidate will:
  • Be honest, reliable, and trustworthy.
  • Have good listening and communication skills.
  • Have empathy for service users’ situations.
  • Be committed to working as part of a team.
  • Be physically fit and in good health.
  • Be happy to work in a diverse multicultural society.
  • Be aware of the varied needs of people in the community.
  • Be reliable - this is essential as people’s lives are affected by our service.
  • Be willing to do mandatory training and updates as required.
