The Health & Wellbeing Instructor is responsible for the daily operation of physical activity sessions. Duties include recording attendance, programme uptake, and data management through regular contact with staff and members, providing real-time attendance and KPI reviews to management. The instructor also conducts personal assessments and develops individual training programmes tailored to clients' needs, helping them set and achieve realistic fitness goals. The role involves delivering group fitness classes, including sessions for special populations such as seniors, ensuring a stimulating environment for both current and new members. Health & Fitness Wellbeing Instructors work independently, following their certifying organisation's guidelines and company policies. Please see attached Role Profile for full details.

Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant discipline
  • SVQ Level 3 or HNC or equivalent
  • Substantial or previous experience in a leisure environment
Responsibilities
  • Inducting customers for safe and appropriate equipment use
