Job summary

Are you a qualified, NMC registered, Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) Health Visitor or a student SCPHN Health Visitor, qualifying in the next few months ?

Do you have:

  • A willingness to train and progress.
  • Ability to work autonomously and yet be part of a wider team.
  • Qualities of leadership and be willing to take responsibility and make appropriate decisions.
  • Ability to reflect, learn and build on previous experience and knowledge.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive practitioners with strong initiative and a passion for contributing to the continuous development of our service. You will work in close partnership with Children and Family Centres, schools, and other key agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care.

We have within Waltham Forest excellent opportunities within our 0-19 team for innovative and motivated Health Visitors who are keen to contribute to the further development of our service.
